According to the Song dynasty's "Comprehensive Records of Seasonal Times," this day is for "sending away poverty." It is also the day for fertilizing, symbolizing the start of spring plowing for farmers.

2/4 World Cancer Day

Launched by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in 2000, this day aims to raise global awareness of cancer and promote prevention, early detection, and treatment. Events are held worldwide to encourage public attention to cancer prevention, support cancer patients and their families, and boost international efforts in the fight against cancer.

2/4 Seventh Day of the Lunar New Year

"Renri" (Human Day), also called "Seven Yuan." According to the "Divination Book," Heaven created beings in order: first chickens, second dogs, third pigs, fourth sheep, fifth cows, sixth horses, and seventh humans. A sunny day indicates good health, while rain suggests illness. Avoid major activities and long trips.

2/6 Ninth Day of the Lunar New Year

"Heavenly Emperor’s Birthday," also known as "Tiangong Sheng." People hold ceremonies starting at midnight to celebrate, accompanied by firecrackers. Devotees visit temples to pray for favorable weather and good health.

2/7 Tenth Day of the Lunar New Year

The day after the Heavenly Emperor’s Birthday. Families enjoy leftover offerings, hence the saying "Feast on the Tenth Day."

  2/12 Lantern Festival

Lunar January 15th. Also known as the Lantern Festival, it marks the end of the Lunar New Year. People enjoy lantern displays and eat glutinous rice balls, celebrating family reunion and happiness.
